There are a few simple things you can attempt yourself that may help deal with your symptoms of ringing in the ears and improve your total well being.

  • Take frequent exercise and make time to relax.
  • Keep a low level of backdrop noise, such as an opened window, a fan or leave the radio on.
  • Listen to recorded relaxation sounds, such as rain, the sea or bird song. If you�re using them at night and don�t want to disturb your partner, try an MP3 player with pillow speakers.
  • Reducing your exposure to loud sound, as this can make your tinnitus worse and may lead to hearing problems.
