There are some simple things you can attempt yourself that may help manage your symptoms of ringing in ears and improve your standard of living.
- Take physical exercise and take the time to relax.
- Keep a low level of backdrop noise, such as an opened window, a follower or leave the radio on.
- Listen to recorded relaxation sounds, such as rain, the water or bird music. Try an MP3 player with pillow speakers if you�re using them at night and don�t want to disturb your partner.
- Reducing your exposure to loud noises, as this can make your tinnitus worse and may lead to hearing damage.
