There are a few simple things you can attempt yourself that may help control your symptoms of ringing in the ears and improve your total well being.

  • Take frequent exercise and make time to relax.
  • Keep a low level of background noise, such as an opened window, a follower or leave the radio on.
  • Listen to recorded relaxation seems, such as rain, the water or bird tune. Try an MP3 player with pillow speakers if you�re using them at night and don�t want to disturb your partner.
  • Reducing your exposure to loud sound, as this can make your tinnitus worse and may lead to hearing harm.

Living with tinnitus
