There are many simple things you can attempt yourself that may help deal with your symptoms of ringing in ears and improve your way of life.
- Take frequent exercise and make time to relax.
- Keep a low level of background noise, such as an opened window, a fan or leave the radio on.
- Listen to recorded relaxation sounds, such as rain, the ocean or bird tune. If you�re using them at night and don�t want to disturb your partner, try an MP3 player with pillow speakers.
- Reducing your exposure to loud noises, as this can make your tinnitus worse and may lead to hearing damage.
